RECIPE: COLD FIRM TOFU SERVED WITH PICKLES

Look what we found! A cool appetiser to chase the heat away!

Ingredients

Cucumber (preferably Japanese cucumber)

Chilli (no seeds)

400 ml Cider vinegar

1 lt Water

50 ml Sea salt

250 ml Sugar

Instructions:

1.  Put vinegar, water, salt and sugar into a pot and bring to boil over medium heat

2.  Put aside to cool

3.  Pack the cucumbers and chilli in a jar

4.  Pour the cooled pickling liquid over the vegetables and chilled immediately
